The Welcoming Committee is primarily responsible for welcoming new families into the St. Joseph School Community, easing the transition for new students and their families.

This committee, in conjunction with the school faculty, organizes and coordinates Catholic Schools Week activities including prospective parent tours and open house.

It also coordinates summer playground dates where new students and families mingle with current St. Joseph's families. Each new family is assigned a "Host Family" ( a current St Joseph family) to answer any questions that might arise early on or throughout the school year.
