c. Fundraising: The magazine sale
was a success at $45,000 and orders are still coming in to be

sell. **This is an optional fundraiser**. The Wine
Tasting and Auction will be Saturday, March 29 at
the Penfield Country Club. Jackie Vigliotti will chair
this event. Jackie will speak with the room parents giving them
information about individual classrooms making something to be
auctioned off. Donation forms with the school’s tax exempt number
will go out to the parents.
d. Public Relations: Julie Kogler
will now be the chair for public relations. Julie is looking to
contact the media for both newspaper and TV coverage such as the

Christina mentioned making a brochure about St. Joseph School and
getting it out in the community to local real estate businesses as
well as other local businesses. The church will be contacted to see
if we can jointly purchase a sign to be used to display information
to the public.

very helpful in setting up our new computers. Thanks you for your

rooms. We are also looking for any companies that are willing to
donate computers to the school.
g. Welcoming: Monica Harnischfeger
and Kim Reilly were very busy in August and September welcoming new
families to the school with the help of 21 host families. There
were a preschool and kindergarten play dates that were well attended
by families and teachers as well as a classroom visitation for
preschoolers. Approximately 125 people attended the ice cream social
for kindergartners, new students and their families. Kim and Monica
will be surveying the parents to assess the value of the host
families and the play dates and the question and answer sessions.
