The Development committee will have a table or booth set up at the Open House held during CSW.

Enrichment – The booklet outlining the extracurricular activities for the second semester was sent home in the January 7th Wednesday envelope.  There are 15 sessions being offered.  The applications, for the most part, are due on Wednesday, January 27.  A sign-out sheet (similar to that used by after-school care) will be developed for activity facilitators to use to ensure that children are being released after the activity appropriately.  This is already done for certain activities.

Fundraising – Silent Auction/Hockey Game will be held on March 6 at Webster Ice Arena.  Volunteers have been contacted.  K. Callahan has reconfirmed the date with the rink and the players.  Auction items are being solicited currently.  Anyone wishing to donate an item should contact Kelley Callahan or Mary Jo Lorenzo.

Public Relations – Items of interest continue to be submitted to local media.  Room mothers/teachers should feel free to contact the committee regarding events that might be of interest to the larger community.

Eight new IBM computers and 1 laptop have been donated to the school.  The eight desktop computers will be added to the computer lab.  Replaced machines will be used to update older classroom computers.  Two Business-class color printers have been installed for classroom usage.  One is located in the Religious Education room next to the existing laser printer.  The second is located downstairs in the Supply Room next to the existing laser printer.  All classrooms have been configured to use these new printers.

The diocese will be setting up a server to host email for all Teachers/Aides in the diocese.  It is hoped to be up and running in February.

Welcoming – No report.

 Other Topics/Discussion

PreK Member-at-Large Positions – A PreK Member-at-Large position is open.  Anyone interested in the other at-large position is asked to contact Sr. Christina or G. Hebert.

Registration/Tuition – The Monroe County Catholic Schools will be holding Re-registration of existing Catholic school families concurrently with Open Registration.  This is a change from previous years.  There has been nothing communicated regarding the proposed tuition increase discussed last year that would have begun being phased in for the 2004-05 school year.

School Activities Handbook – E. Sabik noted that other area schools have School Activities Handbooks located on their website for easy access.  These handbooks contain information about various activities held throughout the school year.  Parents of current and prospective students might find this information useful.  D. Overfield stated that this information could be added to the website by providing the webmaster with original PDF documents.

2003-04 SAC Meetings – SAC would like to emphasize that ALL MEETINGS ARE OPEN to any parent/guardian who wishes to attend.  Prior notification of attendance is NOT necessary and participation in any discussions is encouraged.  The next scheduled meeting is Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at 7:00 pm.  Meetings are generally held in either Meeting Room 1 or the school library depending on room availability.

Adjournment – L. King moved for adjournment; J. Caccavale seconded.  All approved.
