The Reverend John A. Reddington Scholarship Fund was established under the Will of Father John Reddington to provide for Catholic education at any level and for college education (nondenominational) for residents of the Diocese of Rochester. A scholarship committee exists to review all applications and to select individuals to receive scholarship grants.

There is no limit on the number of times a student may apply for a scholarship. Scholarships are not automatically renewed each year. Students must reapply annually.

The Scholarship Fund is a needs-based fund, but the student must be performing to his/her potential. This past spring  221 students did apply for the scholarship and 151 applicants were assisted. This is not a large fund and scholarships will be $125.00 per year.

The Deadline for all forms to be submitted  is April 30, 2013 as per the Genesee Valley Trust Company with  no exceptions.
