October 7, 2003 Dear Second Grade Parents: We are writing this letter to introduce ourselves as this year’s Room Parents for Mrs. Brown’s class. During the course of the school year, we will be contacting you from time to time to ask for your help with various projects, trips and events that are being planned for the children. We would like to include every parent who wishes to help, so if you don’t hear from us soon enough, please feel free to give us a call or send us a note through your child. Some of the things we will be contacting you about concern class parties and events, group teachers’ gifts, and emergency school closing procedures. Attached to this letter is a copy of your child’s class list. Class lists are to be used strictly for school and your child's social purposes and should be regarded as confidential.
