School Advisory Committee (SAC)
What is SAC?
The School Advisory Committee is comprised of the Principal, Chairperson, a Secretary, Treasurer and the individual committee chairs. SAC supports the school's mission through the efforts of parent volunteers. They participate in committees formed for the purpose of conducting the activities needed to enhance the education received by our students.
Each individual school within the Diocesan School system forms a Local School Advisory Committee known as SAC. This committee is set up to meet the local schools requirements. It is similar to a Public School Board combined with a PTA. SAC has NO input or authority over personnel matters related to the school. SAC's financial responsibilities are limited to managing funds that are raised locally to support school activities.
