Catholic Schools Week - January 31 - February 5th
A celebratory Mass was held on Sunday, Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 43 Gebhardt Road, which included students in full dress uniforms with their families.

The Mass kicked off Catholic Schools Week, the first week of February, which included a weeklong Book Fair, tours on Wednesday, an Open House on Thursday and the opportunity to pick up registration packets.

St. Joseph's Becomes a Parish-Run School
"St. Joseph School is energized about returning to parish-run school - Faith community embraces Diocese of Rochester’s decision and looks forward to a successful Catholic Schools Week" - Click here for the full text of the school's 1/27/10 announcement.

The following is an excerpt of our Pastor, Father Jim Schwartz's comments, published in the 1/24/10 Bulletin, on St. Joseph's becoming a Parish-run school (Click here for the full text):

One of the many assets of St. Joseph’s School is that we have an excellent principal in Sister Christina. She sets a high standard for our school of academic excellence, appropriate discipline, discipline in the context of a loving environment, and a deep sense of the spiritual dimension of life. In our Catholic perspective, there is no aspect of the educational experience in which God is not found. As in all of life, God is to be discovered in all of life’s experiences.
